LKN Fountain of Youth is the first women-founded and women-owned medical spa in the Lake Norman area. Founded in August 2018 by Lisa Smith, RN, BSN, and Amber George, NP-C, MSN, our clinic was built on over 20 years of combined experience in medical aesthetics.

After years of working in the industry, Lisa and Amber decided to step out on their own—bringing their expertise, passion, and patient-centered approach to the Lake Norman community. We are incredibly grateful for the love and support shown in the community and by trusting us with your care.

Amber George MSN, NP-C

Amber, a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, is committed to helping each client rediscover their most confident, vibrant, and youthful self through personalized aesthetic and regenerative care. With nearly a decade of extensive experience in dermatology and wellness care. She has built a perpetual and loyal following of clients through her tenacity, ongoing referrals, personal attention, artistic talent, and skillful injection techniques. Her expertise has been shaped by training and working with dermatologists, specialty physicians, and leading nurse injectors in the aesthetic industry. Her ultimate goal is to help each client rediscover and maintain a natural, healthy, and youthful appearance.

Lisa Palotta Smith RN. BSN

Lisa has been an aesthetic nurse since 2012, training alongside some of the nation’s top professionals. Her interest in aesthetics began while working in makeup and costume design for TV and event production at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, all while attending nursing school.

With a strong artistic eye and advanced clinical skill, Lisa enhances her patients’ natural features while minimizing imperfections. She has built a loyal following who trust her instincts and value her honest, thoughtful guidance. Lisa is passionate about helping patients feel confident through natural, subtle, and personalized aesthetic treatments.

Gabi Edwards LE

Meet Gabi Edwards, originally from Greer, SC, Gabi graduated from Southeastern Esthetics Institute in Columbia and began her career at The Spa at West End in downtown Greenville, where she honed her skills since 2022.

Gabi is passionate about creating unique, personalized treatments — her favorites include 90-minute facials, lash lifts, and microneedling. She believes that great skin starts with a consistent at-home regimen, and her top essentials are Vitamin C and SPF.

Lisa has been a godsend to me! I have been benefiting from her sclerotherapy treatments for years now - can't recall how many, but at least 10 years, starting before Lake Norman Fountain of Youth opened. Years before, I tried other practitioners but never saw much improvement in my numerous red spider veins and visible blue veins. But with her expertise, I was thrilled with the results and was finally able to wear shorts without embarrassment! And I can't describe the lift in my self-confidence and ease in participating in summer socials. Now I'm just maintaining annual (or bi-annual) visits to erase the new spider veins that inevitably appear. Lisa is truly the best!
